In order not to use plastic bags to collect poop I decided to give this a try. Here are my observations: grey-black is actually dark gray and glossy black, looks attractive. The small holder sits in slots located in the edge of the genie. The included shovel is only marginally better than the dollar store brands. It is made of plastic with a hollow plastic handle. It fits perfectly in the holder. It comes with a bag of "garbage bags" and the instructions on how to put them in the device are pretty simple. They tie a knot at the bottom of the pouch and then fill it with scooped feces. Once the bag is full, you cut it open (with a knife in it), tie it shut, and throw it away. Then you tie a new bag and start over. The size is small compared to my tray - see photo. Great for small areas. I had just broken another shovel and although this one came with its own I wanted something with some weight that wouldn't bend or break. So I bought: a deep scoop screen - designed by cat owners - Teflon coated and solid aluminum. "Ideal bucket" with free holder. Hard core handle. iPrimio patent pending. It's very durable, has a strong grip, is a bit longer and the shovel part is Teflon coated so nothing sticks to it. My cat has heavy, bold clots of urine and this will help. It comes with a wall mount but fits in the gin scoop holder (it's bigger than the ladle that comes with it and you can see the handle from above. The scoop part is also a bit wider but I don't see that's a problem (see picture )
