They work if you have your own screws

Cheap and easy. I was nervous about pulling the threads off the pins making them very tight so I left them looser than I would have liked. The screws for the plate are junk, they are too soft. I went to the hardware store and bought some real stainless steel screws to fix this problem. In the end I find the hood sturdier than if it had a factory lock.
