This is a good heat sync and worked great for my odd application. I used this on my PepWave hotspot router. The PepWave gets a bit warm and I keep it in a cabinet that restricts airflow. So I found this at Revain and it was the perfect size for my application. One thing I would recommend is buying some sync thermal paste to put between the sync and the element you want to cool. In my application I did this and then used some picnic table clamps to hold it firmly in place.
