Installed today and very satisfied. I bought it because I wanted a constant blue ambient light that could be dimmed if needed and a USB port. I like that it has a remote control as I didn't want to install the app. It turns off/on automatically when I turn the car off/on and remembers the last settings. My 4Runner has USB ports on the back of the center console, so I plugged it in there and routed the cable for the headlights along each side of the center console and tucked underneath. Installed headlights hidden behind things that don't move and it won't make a difference as they are LED and shouldn't get hot (have to keep an eye on them to check). For the seat back, I installed a glowing strip face down under the bottom of the front seat backs between the two rubber bands that hold the fabric on the bottom of the back seat. Since the remote isn't needed, after adjusting the color and brightness, I tucked it under the seat so the only visible wire comes from the rear USB port. The photos show the driver's side with the lights off and the passenger's side with the lights on at an angle not normally visible. .
