Absolutely wonderful collection of noro patterns

I remember when I first saw noro yarn about 15 years ago. It stuck in my memory - it was so beautiful. I bought enough yarn to make myself a sweater and to this day it's one of my favorite pieces of clothing. Noro patterns have come a long way. They started out as small pamphlets that were difficult to read and not very aesthetic. We now have a wonderful book, Knit Noro: 30 Designs in Living Color, as well as some great Noro books by Jane Ellison. The books match the beauty of the yarn, and the patterns are now varied and beautiful. This book features thirty patterns. Everyone has something to say about themselves but some stand out more than others. The following appealed to me: Belted cardigan Diagonally striped vest with tonal belt tied in Noro Silk Garden Noro Yarns Silk Garden Ribbed scalloped scarf, sock yarn, braided hat tied in Noro Yarns Silk Garden Refined blue, brown and green chevron throw blouse, tied to Noro Kuryon spiral knitted hat in Noro Silk GardenLeaf Lace in pleasant shades of blue and purple knitted in Noro Silk Garden sock yarnLeggings with lace knitted in Noro Silk Garden sock yarn with side stripes Multicolored primary color vest knitted in Noro TaiyoPatchwork Afghan knit with Noro Taiyo in beautiful pink, orange, brown and black. Felt raincoats were knitted with Noro Kureyon and then felted. The striped cloth is something that I know I'll be knitting soon. It's good. Has shades of purple, green, brown and grey, knitted with Noro Kuryon patternFair Isle hat looks Norwegian and knitted with Noro Kuryon patternI picked my favorite patterns, there are twelve of them, almost half the patterns in the book. When I buy a knitting book I ask myself these questions: Am I going to knit patterns? Is the book a good resource? Are the patterns easy to understand? The answer to all three questions is an absolute YES. This is a wonderful book! If you love Noro, you will love this book. If you haven't discovered Noro yet, this book will make you a Noro lover. This is a great addition to my knitting library. When I buy a knitting book, I ask myself the following questions: Will I knit patterns? Is the book a good resource?
