The camera is normal for the price

The camera is normal for the price I paid for it. However, I was disappointed that it had a very basic image with installation instructions that were completely wrong. and had to figure out how to install online by doing a search, which actually wasn't that easy. Quick guide: black = ground / neutral red = positive (I used reverse lights to turn this on, just remember you need to take the best route for you.) Connect the red wire to the hot wire (at a traffic light or somewhere ) and a black wire to neutral (some vehicles have a common ground/neutral). Keep in mind that the camera's power cables are tiny and I actually had to unplug the backup lights to connect them. When this is done, run a wire from the head unit to the reverse light fuse in the car. You can place them in the fuse box in the car or under the hood or along the power cord of the reversing light. This leads to the main unit's return or reversing cable. When you're done, the camera should turn on when the car reverses and appear on the video screen. So back to the rating. The camera seems to work fine as long as you don't save more than 5 times. -10 mins. Image quality isn't the best but hey it was $$$ so can't complain too much about it and it lets me see what's behind me so it does the job I needed it for. My problem is that the installation guide didn't come with the company, the company sent a basic wiring diagram but it took me a while to figure out the second wire that needed to be routed to the main unit.
