Save your money. I bought it for a naughty Anatolian Shepherd but to be honest the battery doesn't last more than 1 or 2 days on standby which makes the collar pretty much useless. For $300, I have much higher expectations for battery life. I had to strap my dog in, charge the battery every day and only walk at night with a freshly charged collar and remote. The remote is a small brick with two different shock buttons (why two?) and a long cord permanently attached. I suppose the designers wanted to wear it around their necks, but seriously, who needs a brick around their necks? I found that the only thing the strap was good for was grabbing whatever I passed and pulling the remote from my pocket. Tonight it happened again and I lost the remote control again. Will this collar shock the dog? Yes, but it is extremely low value compared to the price. I expect it to be $75 or less because it's useful and functional. PS - My dog can turn off the collar by scratching his neck and accidentally pressing the power button on the remote.
