Highly recommended - worth every penny

Pros: I like the vibrate (pager) setting; enough for my stubborn doberman; Even when he needs help the most (sees the squirrel), 10 out of 127 is enough to get his attention. Convenient and easy to use. Excellent battery life. Cons: I wish it came with a bungee collar, but I was able to purchase a 1" wide bungee collar for it from a third party.

EXCELLENT GOODS! in Electronic Training Collars

We love this collar, it works great and is very durable. I use it for walks and workouts, I turn it off when not in use, but I rarely have to charge it before 2 weeks. It's strong enough to keep my roti/shepa from chasing cars I've rarely had to get past 40 and soft enough to increase their obedience, the remote control is solid enough and fairly small, they offer replacement parts that I can easily see Years. Thanks Dogtra, this is a great product, wish it had a sound.

Worth the price, easy to use, dog responds to low levels

Love this e-collar. I have never used it so I found it very easy to use with the help of my dog trainer. Depending on the situation, my standard poodle reacts to levels 4-7 without fear. 13 if it's a big commotion. She wags her tail and is happy when the collar is removed! I can't even feel the shock at these levels even if I press the collar pins against my neck and I have sensitive skin. 13 I can feel, but only if I concentrate very hard. It doesn't hurt at all. This product is highly…

Don't waste your money

Save your money. I bought it for a naughty Anatolian Shepherd but to be honest the battery doesn't last more than 1 or 2 days on standby which makes the collar pretty much useless. For $300, I have much higher expectations for battery life. I had to strap my dog in, charge the battery every day and only walk at night with a freshly charged collar and remote. The remote is a small brick with two different shock buttons (why two?) and a long cord permanently attached. I suppose the designers…

Hands Free Square is a Game Changer

I've been using a Dogtra 1900 for a year and have upgraded to a new 1900's model. My favorite part of the device is the speakerphone square. Like many German Shepherds, Zeke learned quickly and used a collar. He knew that if we hold the remote control, it can be corrected, and if the remote control is not in our hands, he can leave without following the command. The speakerphone square changed all that because it works with my watch and can't tell where the device is. Now he can only assume…

Best DogTra collar!

The new DogTra 1900S HANDSFREE PLUS is a game changer! I have been an active user of DogTra products for two decades now. The company's product features, quality and support have always been top notch. I have used these products in the most extreme conditions and weekly in ponds, lakes, streams and mountains. This latest product gives me the features I've been dreaming of for a long time. From active outdoor scenarios to dog training at the local park, there are times when I don't immediately…

Good machine but ergonomics needs improvement

Overall I'm satisfied but for a product several years old the team and Dogtra need to improve something. I bought this version to study and made some changes to get the system working. Collar - A hard collar is not suitable for every active dog. It has to be tight to get good contact, but there's no flexibility here. I immediately replaced it with a redline bungee version and my GSD is much happier. The transmitter is a good size and the belt clip is very sturdy. I immediately took the strap…

Great product!: collars

Our English Bulldog Squinz is a soft, calm boy who loves to play! Anything that rolls, bounces or crunches is fair game. However, we also gave a 1 and 2 year old and we had problems with squints eating the children's toy or trying to get the toy while the children were holding it. We took him to training and before we started training we needed a Dogtra 1900S. Training with Ecollar helped a lot! The only downside was that we didn't always have the clicker with us or couldn't find a place to put
