I'm looking for something to hold my Samsung Galaxy S7 phone while driving. I didn't want anything with a suction cup, the RAM mounts are a bit pricey (I already use one for my GPS) and the mounts with adjustable plastic knobs tend to break, so I went with this magnetic version. Since my phone case already uses a magnetic backing plate, I used a large magnetic sticker (one of the four included) on the back of my phone's magnetic back to double the holding capacity. It also holds up well in bumpy off-road conditions. I love how easy it is to mount the phone horizontally or vertically. I love that it sits at the perfect height and doesn't really interfere with the radio or my air conditioning in my GMC - although depending on the vehicle this can take a little getting used to. Reliable investment.
