So this is airsoft level gear as they say. Also, I was looking for it. WHY? Tactical stuff is made for someone MUCH younger than me. It is MUCH heavier and not suitable for old/weak joints. If you want to kick down the door with them, don't take them. If you want to avoid banging your knee or elbow on a door frame, they work. The thin plastic makes them very flexible, which is why I bought them. If you're planning to get on your knees, slip through the door, and meet a bunch of baddies, look elsewhere. I have Home Depot knee pads which are much better. I made them fit my kit and avoid sloppy entry and exit issues. What can I say? I HATE funny bones!
