Review on Wald 1372 Gloss Black Front Bike Basket in Medium Size by Mark Sharma

I used to find Wald panniers heavy and bulky, not what I wanted for my bike. I've changed, but Wald has improved his game too. I am satisfied with my 1372 basket. The basket and fittings are heavy but strong. Each part can be perfectly aligned. The result looks good. No rattles. The parts bag contains instructions, brackets, two M6 screws, six captive M5 stars and 8mm/M5 hex nuts. Hex nuts do not have nylon inserts. The parts are steel and appear to be galvanized. I applied screw lock to all screws. The basket and racks are powder coated. I moved the coated tabs along the basket wires for a better fit, exposing the bare metal. The original Wald 137 (still available) has a better clip for small diameter handlebars. But then you don't have adjustable legs.
