This thing looks doubly like a BMW

This thing looks doubly like a BMW. It works well, and you'll spend heaps of money on "upgrades" you'd like in the box, but you'll still be pretty complacent once this thing gets up and running. I know what I am! 1. Locking pin. This will prevent someone from unscrewing and taking away your controller.2. Zombie Castle. This will prevent someone from simply removing and manually opening the front support split pin.3. Brackets for a zombie lock. Don't drill your gate. They only promote rust.4. Additional remote control. The kit includes a remote control. Even if you program your HomeLink adapter, you still need one at home and a backup to let people through to the gate. Don't forget to order a battery. Strangely, it took me another two weeks to receive my battery, so I had to wait for it to be fitted. No big deal but be careful. This was my first Gate installation and I'll rate it a 3/5 for difficulty because the person who designed the control box enclosure never had to install it himself with accessories. If they did, they would know they had failed. However, it works SUPER well and aligns with everything past and current Mighty Mule owners have to say about why they like the Ghost Controls device better. The instructions can be greatly simplified when it comes to the whole gate measurement process. I followed the instructions, took notes where I was told and it didn't work at all. Then I realized I had to do the following: 1. Attach the control arm to the rear bracket and follow the spacing instructions.2. Open the gate fully to the position where you want it to open and stop. Shorten the control handle by rotating it fully IN and give a rough touch where it attaches to the gate. If this meets spacing and spacing guidelines, secure your child using the clips provided and proceed with the instructions on the control box.3. Once the controller is operational, use the JOG CLOSE button to jog the gate to the desired stopping point, then press and hold 1ST POSITION until you hear a beep. That's all set. Any decent do-it-yourselfer that has stayed within the gate length limitation and has adjusted the rear bracket to the correct height with the correct spacing will easily handle this with a few tweaks. Note: the instructions for using two pairs of pliers to force the clamps closed are a bit silly. I have several sets of these woodworking quick clamps from your local home improvement center. The best investment and sometimes an extra pair of hands on this project.
