EDIT1: So it looks like the lighting wasn't "diffused" properly due to a software issue. The angle returns to normal once I desync it with Aura and manually adjust the rainbow. I am now increasing this rating to 4 stars. I will continue to check the aura sync and see if the update fixes this issue. Original post: I'm giving this one 2 stars (I was going to give it 3 stars but downgraded it to 2 because to be honest I was braking too quickly) mainly because the lighting seems to be broken/not diffusing properly in one of the corners after just a month or so, which is absurd for the price! Advantages: - large pad, the mouse glides well. - Qi charging (main reason for buying) - Good lighting (if not broken) - Convenient USB port (only 2 in the front of my tower so it's useful to have an extra one within reach!) - Charges relatively quickly, 10 W Cons: - USB 2.0 (a bit old for the price) - Flare on one corner doesn't work properly on rainbow settings. Other solid colors seem to work well. It worked fine for a month, so let's hope it doesn't break completely in another month. Qi charging can be uneven on large phones/phones with cases. The wireless mouse needs to be charged about every 4 days and I got tired of plugging it in. Now I can charge my mouse/phone while playing video games or just doing non-mouse related work. This suggests that if the mouse is charging and I need to use it, I can just pick it up, use it, and put it back in. Finally, I'm just frustrated that the $80 mouse pad broke after a month of use. We will contact Asus and see if they can fix the issue as the return window has expired. Will update the review once the issue is fixed or not. Photos are also added to show defective lighting.
