Review on Alpicool Portable Refrigerator Vehicle Freezer by Gage Lawson

This wonderful, economical and totally reliable device literally saved my young daughter's life. We faced a HUGE dilemma moving over 1,000 miles from Florida to our new home in the Northeast. I will explain. Our daughter has insulin-dependent type 1 diabetes. Insulin is an extremely temperature-sensitive drug. If insulin will not be used within 30 days, it MUST be stored at about 34-45 degrees (approximately). Driving around the US, it's very difficult to be able to constantly regulate the temperature of anything, let alone a very sensitive life-saving drug that's prone to denaturation. This wonderful Alpicool car fridge solved all my fears and concerns about insulin. It was the absolute champion throughout the three-day drive. He maintained a constant temperature (plus or minus degrees C) throughout the voyage. I used a standard portable refrigerator thermometer and a dual sensor digital thermometer (three gauges total) to ensure the Alpicool contents were maintaining a safe temperature within tolerances for my medication. Alpicool has proven to be excellent! I was able to easily adjust the internal temperature of the device one degree Celsius at a time using simple digital temperature controls on the outside of the device. Opening the unit door allowed me to heat it up inside when the unit got too cold, and I also increased the temperature a bit. connect when we checked into our hotels at night. The cooler perfectly maintained the internal temperature on the way from the car to the hotel and vice versa. In the car, the Alpicool fit perfectly in my passenger seat and would fit my medium sized Escape horizontally or vertically (FYI only). In addition, the device works very quietly even when the compressor is switched on. It's important to know that you need to make sure the vents on either side of the device aren't blocked in order for Alpicool to do its job. This is one of the best buys. I have ever done that. I would advise any family of a diabetic or person with diabetes to order this life saving product. It's important to note that Alpicool is more than just a disposable vehicle that our family needs: we will continue to enjoy the peace of mind that comes with this purchase as it protects and protects our baby's vital insulin. I love that I can use this when there's a power outage or zombie apocalypse lol. Seriously, Alpicool is great! Many thanks to the manufacturer of this product.
