Alpicool Portable Refrigerator Vehicle Freezer Review

It freezes and cools food. It's been in my 03 Pontiac mood for several months. The temperature gauge was very inaccurate. I had to keep it at 27F to stay in the 38-40F range. But for the price it was great. If you don't mind the inaccuracy of the temperature sensor and a second thermometer to determine the actual temperature, then this is your budget refrigerator.

This seemed like the perfect solution for transporting that very important breast milk during a very stressful move across the country. I tested it for a few days, even using special freezer packs that stay very cold and everything worked fine, but after about 13 days of continuous use it stopped working and caused all my wife's milk to thaw and subsequently go bad. I suspected was new to the market and low priced. I have an $800 Engel 12v freezer and researched the products so I gave it a try. Excellent Freezer. You can adjust the temperature I use on the 18 wheel bike for about a month. Set the temperature to -20 degrees Celsius. He ran the 18 wheel over bumps and it made a grinding noise and kept moving. I doubted this product would work that well. It's really quiet here at night when the truck is parked. It rarely needs to be run after running for a few hours. It reaches freezing point very quickly, in about 15 minutes. Comes with a cord for a 12v car or truck and possibly a boat.

This is an amazing fridge freezer. This is a really good deal considering other manufacturers cost almost twice as much. Took it on a trip across the country for two weeks. Every day I took and took from the car. This allowed us to keep food fresh for several days. We probably saved $100 not having to buy as much food along the way.
