This is an amazing fridge freezer. This is a really good deal considering other manufacturers cost almost twice as much. Took it on a trip across the country for two weeks. Every day I took and took from the car. This allowed us to keep food fresh for several days. We probably saved $100 not having to buy as much food along the way. On the way back we used it as a freezer, transporting 14 pounds of frozen fish and caviar 2,000 miles. When we got home everything was still frozen. The device is quiet and makes hardly any noise. Where the cable enters the device feels unreliable, so I took great care to connect/disconnect carefully. Sometimes the cable in the car has to wiggle so that it can be connected to the car's 12V socket and be powered. Your car may work differently. It includes a 110V power adapter and a 12V car cord. We have found that it is possible to set sub-freezing temperatures for non-frozen food. If you open/close it frequently, set it to maybe -2 degrees Celsius. To freeze, set the max value to -20.
