I have installed hundreds of lamps, ceiling fans, sockets, switches in my life. THIS wasn't easy to install, I actually didn't install it after trying item 1 and returning it. The metal ring you need to attach to the ceiling did NOT match the holes/screws in the junction box (US standard box in a 2 year old house)2. It was not possible to attach the light electro box to the supplied ring. The screws were not supplied, the holes on the two items did NOT match, so it wasn't possible with the screws either.3. Even if this all worked, the method of connecting to the wires was completely unclear. The wires are L and N for load and neutral I believe, but they are attached to a small box that you need to connect the wires to. Typical 14 gauge wire is too thick for this small wire box connector. Finally, there is NO GROUND WIRE, so this can be a big problem.4. This product feels and looks very cheap, absolutely not worth $55, I strongly advise against buying it.
