I've been using my DeLonghi EC685BK for almost a year and I make an average of 2 cappuccinos a day. That's why I bought this machine: At an average price of $3.50 for a cappuccino, I would spend over $2,500 at a coffee bar. After reading all the reviews, it is very important to understand that this machine makes espresso in your own home, just like you get a coffee maker in a typical $10,000 coffee bar that is "professionally" maintained. It does have a learning curve though, and as a consumer it's up to the buyer to do some research (there are plenty of YouTube videos, even on this machine) on what to do and what not to do when buying/using the device. Home espresso machine. It is equally important to follow the instructions in the user manual regarding cleaning/descaling, correct grinding, overheating, etc. Expect to go through trial and error at first, but with a little patience, once you get it right (it won't take long), you'll be very satisfied. I highly recommend this machine and Lavazza Super Crema Whole Bean Coffee Blend, Medium Espresso Roast to go with it.
