I'm an avid tech enthusiast and I love gadgets. Over the years I've owned a variety of robot vacuums from different manufacturers and was pleased to see the sleek, modern design that the ILIFE V5s Pro offers in addition to two-mode vacuuming: regular vacuuming and wet mopping. Unfortunately, this vacuum keeps disappointing me for a number of reasons: 1. My original vacuum worked well (not very well, see below) for about 2 weeks before it stopped sucking and took on a new crab role. It only went backwards. Since this happened within 30 days of an acceptable return, I exchanged it for a new one.2. The replacement worked for about 3 months before it started doing the same. I researched why that is. I cleaned the sensors thoroughly and it seems to be working again.3. In general, my impression of this vacuum cleaner is like a little kid in the house that needs constant supervision. To clean a room, I have to "kidproof" the room - pick up chairs, move cables and other obstacles, etc., and it STILL manages to get stuck in all the weird places. Under furniture high enough to walk under, corners, slightly raised areas around the fireplace, such as 1-inch high brick. A couple of times I found this vacuum cleaner completely dead in the middle of the room and in the room "I wasn't vacuuming. As a consumer, I want a robot vacuum to be my assistant. I want to press a button, walk away to do a million other things, and return to the vacuumed room. This vacuum needs constant monitoring to make sure it isn't getting stuck or tangled in anything. There are no virtual walls in this model which could help with some of these problems. I really wanted to love this vacuum cleaner. Unfortunately for me it causes more problems than it solves and most likely it will go to the fundraiser at the first opportunity Stars - that's a VERY generous rating for this model.
