Works great with Clonezilla by first cloning the image file and then selecting recovery to copy it to a new drive. Please note that the secret is that you need to remove the OEM M2 SSD from your computer and put it in an external M2 enclosure. Creating an image file when your M2 SSD stays on your motherboard somehow leads to many Win 10 BSOD errors when you try to reboot. I have researched that Clonezilla has some issues with the UEFI type bios present on the Acer A515-54. I spent almost two weeks testing and re-testing different options before realizing that copying to an external enclosure was successful. Tampering with a computer's bios can be disastrous, and I've tried it and don't want to repeat it. Note that the procedure works for both SATA (b&m) and NVME (m) dongles. Acer supports both SATA and NVME SSDs, although NVME is definitely faster.
