Review on AOC C24G1: Ultra-Smooth 144Hz Frameless DisplayPort Monitor with Height, Pivot, and Tilt Adjustments by Chuck Vesper

So far so good in my review

So I had multiple monitors to play games on. This is the first gaming monitor I own, so to my surprise it can be a bit fanatical. So far the monitor is great. I didn't notice any burned pixels, dead spots, or show through. There is a preset for FPS games, which is nice. This setting has a very cool tint, but it kills the eyes after a while. Also in this setting I noticed that red colors are not processed very well. It seems strange to me, but along with eye fatigue, I disabled the FPS setting. The stand is actually pretty cool. It's quite aggressive, but flexible at the same time. The stand allows you to raise and lower the monitor. You can also rotate the monitor left and right. It doesn't rotate the monitor to portrait but I understand because the screen is curved and that would be weird. All ports work as intended. The picture lies a little. In one of the photos, the rear view of the monitor shows about 3 USB ports. In fact, I can confirm that there are no USB ports on this monitor. A little disappointing, but that's how it is. The curved screen is a bit unfamiliar at first, but you get used to it after a while. All in all, I would recommend this monitor to anyone looking to buy a gaming monitor. Of course I bought this monitor at a discount and I don't know if it will be on sale and for how long, but if it's on sale when you're in the market I highly recommend it.
