Some people report that the scarf doesn't itch. It seems incomprehensible to me. The comb feels precariously glued together and looks stiff and cheesy on its own. The colors are not as strong as I had imagined. The scarf is also narrower than I imagined. We bought it to accompany the Harry Potter robes we ordered. The scarf was too itchy and the kids gave it up for a trick or treat. Scarves in Harry Potter World are $10 more expensive, but they feel like soft polyester. They looked much better on the neck. I consider this scarf to be more of a costume and decoration (only used for Halloween) than an everyday scarf. Our kids don't like wearing it so I can't consider it a very good buy.
