Died less than a year ago

I want it to be fun, but I also want it to work and keep working. I use this on my desk for LED strip lighting and it was a pleasure just touching the corner of the desk. I've never been able to get dimmer functionality and while that would have been nice, I didn't really care. After about 8-9 months I noticed the lights came on in the mornings and finally noticed that they came on in their places. own. After about 11-12 months it completely broke where it turns on again about 3-5 seconds after turning off. All in all, it's under $20. I would like to buy a new one, but of course not at this price given the quality.
