Review on πŸ”© Sleek Satin Nickel Screws for Enhanced Residential Hinges by Logan Collier

Revainrating 3 out of 5

They almost look like wood screws

the screw that comes with the hinge. The head keeps getting smaller. The shank of a wood screw is larger at the head and tapers towards the tip. They have a profile similar to that of a self-tapping screw. Although the thread is stretched like a screw. Like others, I couldn't find a package or box of screws as one reviewer suggested. My store only has 2 packs. The problem is that these nickel hardware kits only come with 1" screws, which isn't enough for an exterior door. Therefore, it is difficult to find suitable screws. It's expensive but it was convenient. Although the quality of the metal is very good. I put a lot of torque on one of them and expected it to loosen but it didn't. Actually, they could have been a bit larger in diameter, but they were enough. They are described as #9, I've never heard of that size, they are usually #8, #10 and so on. I think it should be the same metric/sae.

Pros
  • #9 x 2 1/4" wood screws with 1 1/2" thread
Cons
  • doubt
