*DOESN'T KNOW EXTENSION LINGO, MAY USE WRONG TERMS :)* While I may not have the right terminology, I have a lot of experience with clip-in extensions. Here is my most honest review for those who are looking. I chose Lacer Extensions for my first purchase and it was great. (+) I happened to try on their clip-in extensions, which have a cord sewn in behind the clips. I was a little hesitant at first because the clip adds thickness that I'm not used to. (This may be a disadvantage for some) However, after a little practice, I soon fell in love with it because it actually gave me extra volume at the roots and made my extensions look more natural. (-) The hair was a bit more yellow than I thought it would be in the photo, but the stylist added some highlights and it looked beautiful.3. (-) Hair seemed to dry faster, get knotted and more difficult to manage than any other brand I had used before. (+) I feel the ducks had more hair than other brands I've used5. (+) Excellent price. I ordered a lace for the 2nd time and didn't read the description properly and I received clips where there is no lace behind the clips but a ribbon. This experience is not that great.1. (-) Clips are sewn onto the tape unevenly. Too much tape hangs down at the ends, causing wrinkles and curls. That means they stick out of my hair. I trimmed the tape a bit but was afraid of losing too much hair on these particular ducks. (-) The clips don't seem to hold up as well as the lace lined ones (don't know why)3. (-) Again, the hair isn't that easy to maintain (again, I don't know why. Maybe processing) 4. (+) Great value for money However, if you're looking for a speed dial at a great price, this could be for you.
