I have had other similar speakers on bikes before with mixed results. Nothing will ever be quite as enjoyable as a full factory installed sound system, but you pay dearly for it. I had her on the bike for about 2 weeks and spent a full day riding and another short errand errand trip. I didn't install right away because I was trying to figure out where/how to find the amp. I was going to put a waterproof plastic box in there and mount it under the counter on the back of the sissybar, but decided not to go that route for fear of overheating. I tested it for a day with the front attached to the frame under the steering column but the supplied silicone cover for the connectors disappeared within the first mile and as it is not considered waterproof and that cover is now gone I decided to to place them temporarily inside. saddlebag. The bag it's in is mostly empty so there was plenty of room and air around the AMP, but after 90 minutes of riding I decided to turn it off and it felt very hot. I turned it off, went to lunch and an hour later it turned on and I had to reconnect it to my phone to be able to stream music :-(On the first ride after installation I had to start the bike but I did thought it was because I had things going on for a long time installing and setting up, the bike started later in the day with no problems but every time I had to plug the phone back into the amp it showed up in the list, but it wouldn't connect and I have to remove the device and pair again, then everything was fine until I turned the power off again :-(about 10 days after the last ride I wanted to start the bike to run some errands to make and it was dead. i didn't have time to jump so i took the car 3 days later i went out to get in and drive to work and it's so empty it can't even start ringt Took the battery to check and it was 4 volts charged last night, check tomorrow if the battery is dead or not. The sound from the speakers was ok. I mean I wasn't expecting super high end, I just wanted to be able to hear without distortion and when I turned my phone's volume down to 3/4 I was able to turn the AMP on loud enough to play at 75 miles per hour and hear no distorted sound. However, having to pair the device every time I turn on the bike doesn't work for me. I can't say anything about the lifespan of the speakers. I see many individual speakers die, but I've only been able to ride them for a day, so not enough time to say if they'll last long. Between draining the battery in just a few days even when they are off. , the inability to stay paired properly after a power outage, and how hard the device is working. I'm generally not happy with it and will consider a return/exchange and see if I can have better luck with another brand.
