Do not connect them directly to the battery!

Buy a circuit breaker for $6 or hook them up across the ignition wire if you hook it up directly to the battery you'll end up with a dead bike even if you unplug it. Plus, and knowing that you have to re-pair them every time you turn the bike on, they're great. I can hear my music and GPS navigation tips on the Autobahn at 80 through a full face helmet (although I have a windshield too ) I bought 1 set for myself and loved it so much I gave it to everyone in my riding group as a Christmasโ€ฆ

Neat little system.

I bought this system to install on my 2012 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Classic. I did not use speaker mounts, controller mounts, or amp screws. Rod mounts can be used but are ugly. Mirror mounts will not work with metric (M10) mirrors. Should work with HD (5/16") mirrors. I made new mirror mounts but the wires are a little short. There are Molex prongs on the ends of the wires so I had to cut and lengthen the wires. 1/8 -" stereo plug. If you're using Bluetooth, this cable just sits in and takes upโ€ฆ

Highly recommend, especially for the price

Overall the system is amazing, I have a few complaints about it1. Autoplay - Autoplay is extremely stupid and constantly bugging me and everyone around me, I go to turn on my bike and before I can start it my radio blares out anime songs or ICP or whatever it is in my library that day should have full capacity2. The volume control is a small thing and not a big deal if you're like me and love your music loud, but due to the multifunction buttons on both the remote and amp, the skip and volumeโ€ฆ

Fantastic value for money

Well today I finally got the chance to hit the road with it. The volume was impressive, I couldn't hear it at full volume at 55 mph. The sound is a bit "Trebel". but that's to be expected from a 3-inch full-range speaker. The Bluetooth worked well and the FM tuner was fine. I haven't tried USB or SD cards yet. I suggest going to the Boss Audio website. and reading the user manual to fully understand the limitations of this device. I had to fabricate a bracket out of a piece of 18 GA stainlessโ€ฆ

Great amp but bad speakers.

I bought this amp because it was one of the few systems that could plug in an SD card or USB stick with downloaded MP3 files and just play it. From that point of view, it's great. When you turn on the amp, it will turn on and start playing the MP3 from where it left off. This is actually a great feature as the remote that comes with the stereo is pretty poor. As mentioned, the plus and minus buttons are used for multiple functions, so you never know what you're setting up. When the amplifier is

Good motorcycle stereo - fairly loud and compact

I installed this stereo on my 1997 Honda Shadow ACE 1100 and it works very well. Installation: When installing the speakers on the steering wheel, I had to improvise a bit - the brackets were too big to clamp the steering wheel, and the rubber - the spacer strips supplied were too thin and too thick. So I cut some strips out of an orange rubber mat I happened to have, and they were just the right thickness. I routed the speaker wires under the gas tank and under the seat. The included cablesโ€ฆ

VERY NONE best speakers

I have had other similar speakers on bikes before with mixed results. Nothing will ever be quite as enjoyable as a full factory installed sound system, but you pay dearly for it. I had her on the bike for about 2 weeks and spent a full day riding and another short errand errand trip. I didn't install right away because I was trying to figure out where/how to find the amp. I was going to put a waterproof plastic box in there and mount it under the counter on the back of the sissybar, but decided
