I bought this system to install on my 2012 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Classic. I did not use speaker mounts, controller mounts, or amp screws. Rod mounts can be used but are ugly. Mirror mounts will not work with metric (M10) mirrors. Should work with HD (5/16") mirrors. I made new mirror mounts but the wires are a little short. There are Molex prongs on the ends of the wires so I had to cut and lengthen the wires. 1/8 -" stereo plug. If you're using Bluetooth, this cable just sits in and takes up space. It's non-removable. So far the system is great. It's decently loud even at 60mpg. You may need to adapt the system to your bike.
