$99 vacuum that makes me feel like I'm using a $200-300 vacuum

After reading literally hundreds of reviews and consumer testimonials on several vacuums, we finally bit the bullet Apple and bought the NV105. Shark does itself a disservice with its confusing naming and numbering system for its vacuums, which is a shame as it can put people off buying a good vacuum. It's very easy. Pretty easy to manoeuvre. It's also self-pulling - be ready when you first turn it on. - I regret not having taken any before and after photos of my carpet. Sounds bad I know. Our carpet is only a few years old. I didn't realize how much "life" he had lost. This little $99 vacuum removed more dirt and dust and even erased furniture dents that we now thought were permanent, leaving the carpet looking and feeling brand new. In just 2 quick passes through the area. Seriously, no OCD elimination happened. Easy to assemble for a "quick start". There is a "Quick Start" section in the manual. I've read complaints that the dust box is too small. All I can suggest about this is: 1) If you want a lightweight vacuum, it's important that it's small. This is a compromise. Vacuum cleaners aren't magic. 2) Emptying the bin is incredibly easy and quick so I was scratching my head in confusion as to why this is an issue. 3) Also, it's not tiny. It has a smaller head width, but: it takes up almost no storage space. It has such good suction that even with fast vacuuming, which is easy because it's so light, you'll be cleaning the same area better in the same amount of time than most vacuums. The vacuum cleaner head has a transparent surface. Window so you can see the punch strip. This is more of a "plus" than one would automatically assume, especially if you have long hair. Hair WILL get tangled around each shock bar. Vacuum cleaners aren't magic. Please don't blame the vacuum. Seeing when it's time for a quick haircut was more helpful than I thought. Another common complaint I've read was that "the vacuum cleaner tips over too easily and it's very annoying when trying to use the tools attached to it". Well, I can't help but agree that it tips over easily. This is a VERY lightweight vacuum cleaner. For my needs this was not a problem. I can keep a hand on top of the vacuum or put the vacuum on something if I pull the hose at all. For me it is much more important to have a vacuum cleaner that is light enough for regular use. This is a compromise. One I like to do. The hard floor switch is easy to reach, as is the power button. Forgive me for sounding like a commercial. and from. Hopefully they will loosen up a bit with use. In summary, this is a $99 vacuum that makes me feel like I'm using a $200-$300 vacuum. It's so easy and simple to use that I vacuum more often. We are happy customers.
