I've been wanting to try one of these ergonomic mice for a long time and this was a good opportunity. I have to say I was surprised at how easy it was to get used to having the mouse in a different orientation. After a few minutes, he didn't even realize the mouse was "weird." However, I noticed that my wrist became much more relaxed after working and then playing for a long time. It's not without its flaws, however. I have particularly large hands, so my ring finger tends to drag on the table when using this mouse. I suspect that someone with particularly small hands might also have an issue. It's comfortable, but far from ideal. The DPI feature is a nice touch as I can use a setting by simply moving the mouse and then pressing a button to enable DPI for gaming, although it's not as configurable as some other mice. Battery wise, it uses a pair of AAA batteries, not the single AA battery used in my previous wireless mouse, so you should know that. My only major issue with this mouse is traveling. If you place the mouse receiver in travel storage, you will need to take out the battery to remove it as they are very close together. It's pretty big too. It's about the same size as my G502 but almost twice the height, meaning it doesn't fit in my laptop bag at all. Build quality is decent though and I suspect it will take a few drops before things go wrong. The click action is good, as is the feel of the scroll wheel and the back/forward buttons. I wish the scroll wheel could tilt - I miss that on some other mice I've used. In short: Good: - Definitely relieves my wrist after prolonged use - Solid build quality - Multiple DPI settings available via button - Responsive to both movements and buttons - Comfortable and stable to hold and use Bad: - Settings DPI cannot be changed - You can only switch between them - Not suitable for all hand sizes - Wireless receiver is difficult to remove from mouse unless you remove battery Ugly: - Too big for most laptop bags - Picks up fat easily Overall makes a great job, especially for its price. I wouldn't call it a gaming mouse, but it works well enough to relieve wrist pain compared to my regular wireless mouse. Portability isn't great - it's handy, but it's too big to fit in a pocket.
