After 20 years of using my old trusty Speed Square it took me a while to get used to it. Remembering not to rotate the whole square seems easy enough, but muscles have memories of their own. Now that I know it, I wouldn't go there again. The longer side (hypotenuse) extends further to trim taller rafters. Switching back and forth between normal and hip angle is much quicker than with "fence" style screw-in stops. I would give 5 stars but the lock worked several times (over 3 months) as it was pressed firmly against the edge of the board. Do yourself a favor and draw lines on it when starting a new serve.
