Cords bend well. The comfort in the hand is good. No smooth transition from cord to needle. Suitable for stocky and weighs more than worsted; everything lighter gets stuck in the transition from the cord to the needle. Significant needle resistance. The locking mechanism makes the cords very easy to attach and they stay in place surprisingly well. Not suitable for intricate patterns such as tight cord weaving as the locking mechanism will 'pop out'. Overall, this is a handy, flexible needle set that's great for beginners. I plan to give this set to my little daughter to learn to knit.
