What I like about the Nintendo Switch is that you can play with the console in many different ways. Most people prefer to play games like Super Smash Brothers: Ultimate on the go. As for me, I do a little both at home, connected to the TV, and on the go. But when you look at the many different controllers made for the Switch, most end up being muddled and really fitting in with the craft Nintendo did for the console. This Hori Gamecube Battle Pad Controller for Switch looks great and copes well with fighting games like Street Fighter II Deluxe and adventure games like Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity. But unfortunately there are a few downsides that make the controller not a good buy. First, you don't have feedback like the Switch Pro controller and there's no amiibo support. Battery life is also half that of the Switch Pro and can end up being an issue. I personally would prefer that you buy another controller from a brand like PXN rather than run a console for the money. This will be the easiest fight you can win.
