This product is way overpriced and doesn't perform as described. I bought it to help hold a rug in my kitchen that is in a high traffic area. My kitchen has a wood floor. It doesn't grip enough on the outer edges of the rug. This causes my rug to always be sideways about 1/2" on one corner or the other and up one side, which causes the mat to peek out from under it. My rug was also constantly creeping off of the mat at one end also. I thought at first that the mat was maybe a little too big for my narrow rug, so I trimmed the sides of the mat and the one end a little. That didn't help at all. I would return it had I not altered it by cutting. I find that this item works no better than a roll of cabinet liner bought from the dollar store. I know because that is what I have used in the past. This matt does feel a little thicker than cabinet liner, but does not hold my rug.
