These discos look great! Seriously, one on each wheel makes it look like you bought an expensive set of LED wheels. Most importantly, you can be seen from the side. Side collisions are a very common way of being hit by a car, as headlights and taillights are not usually visible from this angle. I drive 30 minutes early morning and evening on a busy route in Santo Domingo, DR. The drivers here can be insane, but these things have kept me on my toes for months. An important point to remember is to turn them off upon arrival. Batteries last a long time if you only turn them on when you need them, but if you forget they will burn out. It is a pity that the design does not allow the use of AAA batteries instead of watch batteries. They would last longer and you could use rechargeable batteries. Either way, they're a great addition to your bike setup and a cheap and really thoughtful gift!
