Update: Excellent seller support. The concept is good BUT Apple is still preventing these and another one I bought from working reliably. It's just that Apple is preventing everyone from doing what makes sense. Desire only plug and play device level. Bought this after having problems with a cheaper brand. Wanted for big screen email and big screen web content from iPhone or iPad. What works. The latest version of IOS 13.2.3 is used, which now supports a mouse and keyboard. If you're trying to stream YouTube and Netflix, it'll work if you're lucky. I really think Apple is trying to control us and it's not a bad device that seems to work fine on my old direct streaming Android devices. Apple goes through wireless routers. My guess is that Apple just wants you to buy a $150-$200 APPLE TV. The price doesn't bother me, carrying an Apple TV as a portable desktop setup when traveling and occasionally streaming Netflix at a hotel isn't practical.
