I ordered a size 12 pink swim trunks. I followed the sizing guide recommendations and got one that fitted her waist size. Unfortunately, hip and inseam measurements are not given in the table. My girl has "juicy" hips and buttocks so the size 12 was too tight in those areas, it was also above the knees (9 inches in inseam) but it fits the waist nicely. If you are a kid then medium to slim on the buttocks and thighs I think the size chart will be correct. The material seems to be of really good quality, nice and thick but not too thick. I don't think it will have problems with see-through wetness. Due to the way it is sewn, does not seem to be an uncomfortable step. I'll go back and take 14
