I'm 5ft 2in, 110lbs and new to cycling. My friend advised me that the cycling shorts should be very tight and that I buy the smallest size. Based on the reviews and sizing recommendations, I went for a small one. When I received them I tried them on and wow - it was a struggle to get them on my hips! Once put on they feel good. Super tight but not uncomfortable .was on my first trip and felt good. But yes - I regret not returning them before wearing them. I think I could AT LEAST choose a medium, but now all sizes are sold out. I'm not sure if they will expand over time, but now I'm stuck with them. I wouldn't say they are comfortable. I wouldn't recommend going small unless you weigh 100 pounds or less. Unless you like tight hips and buttocks. Otherwise. .some.
