My house has them old skool door handles. I'm not saying I like it. just trying to paint a picture. The door locks I bought for them don't lock. If my kids have a nightmare or need to walk in my room for any reason, then they can. However, if my lady and I are trying to bump some uglies, then I need to have them doors locked. This will always be the best solution for unwanted eyes. I'm not trying to scar them for life! Anyways, back to these bad boys. They are built well and not flimsy. Metal part goes in the door insert and when locked correctly, there shouldn't be any give. Hope this helps.
- Purchased one for myself and one for my daughter. Easy to use and feel safer while using.
