So I ordered two headphones at the same time, both in the same price range and the difference in quality is amazing. The first thing I noticed when opening the box was that they were simply thrown into unsealed bubble wrap. There was no plastic shell known to the headset. I mean I really thought they could be returned. When I took them out they looked like new, but my first reaction wasn't very good. When I took them out I couldn't help but notice how cheap they looked and felt. They are clearly not made of high-quality plastic. The faux leather on the ear pads also looks cheap. They have a two-layer headband where the metal part hardly matters. They have an elastic headband that fits your head and that elastic feels cheap like it will tear easily and when that happens they are useless because that metal band is huge and sticks out a good inch and a half above the head. Chapter. I have ordered similar headphones to the Razer Kraken Kitties for about the same price and they are 1000x better quality. In terms of sound, I ordered them for use with an iPad and a karaoke app. the audio was muffled and sounded a bit cloudy, overall it wasn't as bad, although not as good as the regular cat headphones I ordered. You get a cable with a USB connector for PC gaming or a 3.5mm jack, but you also get a plug-in mic/headphone cable that can also be used for gaming. I recorded a song with them and the mic was fine. Not sharp, but there was no hiss or feedback. They also don't have a built-in volume control, meaning you'll have to use your device to adjust the volume. To be honest, I don't like it at all. Of course they are not comparable to my Alienware gaming headset, no I don't game but I sing and I think gaming headsets for this purpose sound great so I use them instead of regular headsets but they are not even as good as I ordered and also tested the Kraken Kitty all-in-one headset at the same time, and they cost about the same. There are much better options for cheap gaming headsets, or you can save money and buy a decent mid-range headset. Either way, I think anyone looking to buy a decent gaming headset, let alone a headset for listening to music, will be disappointed in them.
