I have a very wide iPhone 6 Plus that comes in an even larger rubber 'Otter Box' case. I had to try THREE other phone holders for my SUV. These were all jokes. They all kept falling when I was driving or cornering. As they were inexpensive it would have been more expensive to send them back and wait for a refund so I looked at Revain again and found this product. This phone holder was the only one that worked perfectly. I think it works so well because the adjustable kickstand (it reminds me of a "stand") on the back of the device keeps your phone stable against your car's air vent at the perfect angle you set it at. . It never wobbles or falls. It stays in place as intended. To attach, you can simply attach the phone case holder to the heater/AC vent pole (I installed mine on the passenger side, facing me while driving), then tighten the clip on the back of the holder clockwise until the clip ( when closing)" hooked" to the ventilation strip. THEN, to rotate your phone to the perfect angle, simply press a button on the hinge (I call it the "stand") on the back of the device to hold your phone upright at the perfect angle for you. . Perfect fit for my big fat iPhone in a case. The phone is easy to place on the phone holder and when you get out of the car, just press the button on the back of the holder to release the phone. Perfect, simple, flawless.
