Tried another one, it works!
It arrived in a small brick sized box which made me worry how it would stabilize my XR+. I have a rubber mat in my trunk so I tested the stand without the velcro. I got up normally even with hard braking. Apparently the velcro is designed to prevent slipping, so the test went well. The slot on the rail is about 1/2 inch wider than the rail so a wheel will rotate a little and it's not a problem at all. I thought about putting spacers in, but I don't have to. I believe that the 1/2" size is suitable for different rail sizes. I would highly recommend this stand and even more so compared to the competition (the overpriced ones). No more knocking in the trunk.
