The petting door above was a life saver when we first had our pup! I placed his kennel right next to the bed and was able to comfort him when he cried at night without interfering with our kennel training. However, he quickly learned to escape through the pet door, so we sealed it with strong duct tape and it hasn't been a problem since. The small water/food plate on the top is also convenient for travelling. To open/close the door you have to maneuver with two hands as it doesn't lift naturally enough to just pull the top of the bar to open it which is awkward. If you are looking for a very powerful kennel this is not the best as it is not made out of durable plastic. Overall good value for money with some (mostly) good features.
