Dogit Voyageur Model 100: The Ultimate Dog Carrier for Convenient Travel Review

Needed a pet carrier to transport a kitten and was a little tight on money so the price was right. Not a bad carrier, just very thin. I had a hard time attaching the latch to the door because the whole thing twists and flexes a lot. But it worked. However, before I have to take her to the vet or whatever, I'll probably need to switch to something really stable.

I was first attracted to this product because it was roomy enough to comfortably and easily carry my 15 lb pet. Unfortunately it didn't hold up well. As soon as I put my darling and his pillow in the carrier and tried to lift it for the first time, it buckled under his weight and the handle fell off the device. However, it served as a restraint that kept my dog comfortable throughout the 8 hour drive until I attempted to pick him up. I sent it back and found the carrier defective.

The petting door above was a life saver when we first had our pup! I placed his kennel right next to the bed and was able to comfort him when he cried at night without interfering with our kennel training. However, he quickly learned to escape through the pet door, so we sealed it with strong duct tape and it hasn't been a problem since. Received this carrier quickly and in the condition promised. However, the height is not suitable for this "very large" medium. He describes it as 27 inches tall, when in fact it's about 17 inches tall (must be a typo). Because of this I had to buy another one from petco at the last minute for way more than I wanted to spend.
