I've used it a few times and it recognizes so many things that it's hard to use. I actually gave it away for a $12 yellow branded one that works great. If you need to find something deep this can work great, for normal studs it finds nails, wire, wood and just freaks out. Not sure I'll ever need this as I wanted to find bolts to screw the bottom (squeaky bottom). It didn't work and if I thought about it I would send it back. I'm sure it's great under the right conditions, but I don't know how to use it.
