Review on 🎄 Janlynn Christmas Morning Stocking Cross Stitch Kit 015-0238 - 18" x 10", White by Nicole Mcleod

First of all I like the design and the quality of the materials. However, there are a few things I really dislike about this set: 1) The photo shows the red lining which complements the design nicely. The color of the lining is not mentioned, so any reasonable person can assume that the product is as shown. 2) Also, there is no lining fabric to hide and protect the left side of the embroidery. This is necessary if this stocking is to be used for more than just decoration (e.g. filled with presents). 3) The graphic is printed so small that it is difficult to read. How much does a sheet of paper cost? Considering the price of this kit, there is no reason not to enlarge this design, maybe up to 150%, and then print it on 3 separate pages that the customer can glue together into one large graphic. Another option would be to provide the customer with a link to an electronic copy of the design that can be enlarged if needed. Other than that, I'm keeping this set to myself. I need to replace the back and add a lining. I will also add the pipes shown in the picture but they are not included in the kit. As for the complexity of this set, I wouldn't call it heavy, just very detailed and big. For this reason I would not recommend this set for beginners unless you are very patient and determined to make this item. Please note that I have often adopted very complex patterns as my first (or almost first) project for different types of crafts when I really wanted to make something and have made it successfully.
