Check Your Settings
Hooked this up to an old Bose AV receiver so it could connect to a modern TV but it didn't work. Before returning I tried the converter on an old VCR and it worked fine(?) By accident, started messing around with the Bose settings and discovered it was set on progressive scan (so the TV couldn't interpret the signal.) Long story short, after changing the setting on the Bose, the picture worked fine. My advice, in case it doesn't work, check your AV or TV settings before returning.
