Review on AntennaMastsRus - Made In USA - 4 Inch Gold Aluminum Antenna Is Compatible With Ford F-150 (2009-2021) by Jared Aguilar

I bought one of these antennas about a month ago. I bought after reading the answers to the question of whether the antenna goes through a car wash. Based on these answers I figured this would be a good replacement for the full size antenna that came with my new F-150. In fact, the antenna passed the first wash with no problems. However, today after my second wash I noticed that it is no longer attached to my truck. In fact, I had to ask one of the assistants to go into the washing tunnel to get the remains of the antenna for me. It was bent in several directions. So much for what I thought was "flexible stainless steel". Only the base of the antenna was attached to my truck; and there was a big gap in it where the antenna was torn from the base. (See attached image.) Unfortunately, there are several highly visible signs surrounding the car wash stating that they are "...NOT responsible for the exterior of any vehicle that breaks down or is damaged while driving. Wash Tunnel. So I went back to my Revain order tonight and decided to write a review, especially after re-reading the responses to the question of how durable the antenna has been through a car wash. "Durable" isn't, at least in my case Working word for a car wash antenna I give 2 stars It arrived on time and looked fine in my truck in the short time it was installed.
