The 6.75 inch antenna looks great and is incredibly easy to install. However, with my F-150, the degradation in AM reception is severe. I live in a large area of Puget Sound not far from major urban centers and the normally "strong" signals are now peppered with constant hiss/crackle. I will return it and try something else.

Good thing there is no wind noise. The bad thing is that it doesn't pick up signals more than 25 miles away. I live in the country so I need better reception. I was a little nervous about replacing the stock Ford antenna on my 2018 F 150 with a shorter antenna, but those concerns quickly dissipated.
