It was fairly easy to put on because, unlike many types of protectors for screens and other things, this Forito protector was forgiving in the application process. I was able to begin to apply it, lift it, and begin again a few times until it was perfectly aligned. Arrived early and packaged really well. The packaging helped in terms of the palm guard but having any fold marks. Super easy to install and no bubbles. Color is a lil off with my MacBook Pro space gray but it blends better than what I replaced it with (I had silver). I have to admit, I was first skeptic about buying this. Occasionally, I get sweaty palms when I’m typing during class and at the same time I wanted to protect my MBP from any scratches that can occur from wearing my watch while typing. I think this is great to protect my new MacBook, it is a bit tricky to apply, but you can pull back & re-apply still looks fine, at least in my opinion. I have air bubble around the track pad, it doesn’t bother me. I have space gray MacBook and got space gray sticker, there is a color difference, again I don’t mind it. Easy to install, no problem on the sensitivity on the trackpad. Colour is not actually the same as my space grey MBP but still looks nice on it and protect the trackpad and both side from smudges from my hand. Only issue I have is the item I received had a dust between the adhesive and the skin itself that is why its not possible to remove by myself. For me it's a minor issue, because I bought this item for protecting it from smudges.

So I thought I had picked the pink one. And I don’t know why I thought the gray color was just a protective film. I took it off & it went in the trash bc it didn’t match & I had no one else to give it to. I didn’t try applying the part on the track pad bc I realized the gray part wasn’t a profile film. Overall, the installation was fairly easy. You just need a steady hand. The adhesive was pretty good. It left no residue on the laptop. I’d buy it again and next time in the correct color.

So I accidentally dropped something hard and it scratched and dented the MacBook right to the left of the track pad. It drove me absolutely nuts for about 2 weeks. I am a programmer and I am always having to remove my watch. But no longer. Since installing the palm rests, I do not have to do it anymore. The rests are more comfortable after use as well. I am about to buy three more sets for the other MacBooks in this house.
